Murphy; sisters, Louise Pasley and Doris Young; and a brother, Bobby Murphy. Wanda is survived by her husband, James; daughters, Melissa Wright and her friend, Andy Levkoff; and his son, Gavyn; and Sherry Mayhew and her husband, Lee; granddaughter, Lauren Mayhew; brother, Ernest "Buck" Murphy; her extended family, Scott and Mary Downey, Vicky Dorton and her fiance, Roger Dixon, Kim and Steven Humphrey, Dreama Janney, Scott Fisher, Lexie Janney, Ronnie, and Jeannie and Trevor Campbell; nieces, Pat, Carla and Sandy; nephews, Terry, Gene, David, Danny, Jeff, Pete, Brad, and Jeff J. Michael; and best friends, Ruth and Tommy Holley, Peggie Webb and Debbie Akers. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor Carol Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Daleville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, May 16, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's East Chapel, Bonsack, 540-977-3909.
