Darrell Lee Shamblin Sr. Darrell Lee Shamblin Sr., 45, of Procious died at home after a sudden illness. He was born May 19, 1961, at Clay, worked as a rig hand and was an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ona Marie Samples Shamblin; sons, Darrell Lee Shamblin Jr. and Jeremy Wayne Shamblin, both of Procious; parents, Junior L. and Mary Carolyn Dobbins Shamblin of Procious; brothers, Herschel, Rocky and Michael Shamblin, all of Procious, and John Shamblin of McDavid, Fla. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Walls Cemetery, Procious, with Pastor Perry Haag officiating. The Clay VFW Post will be performing military graveside rites. Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Darrell Lee Shamblin Sr. fund at Chase Bank, Clendenin.
