ELDRITH CARWILE PARSONS March 5, 1927 - September 15, 2004 Funeral services for Mrs. Eldrith Carwile Parsons, 77, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, September 17 from the First Baptist Church, Livingston, TN with burial in Overton County Memorial Gardens, Livingston, TN. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church in Livingston on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Friday 10 a.m. until time for service at 2 p.m. Mrs. Parsons died September 15, 2004 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born March 5, 1927 in Overton County to the late Joseph Oscar and Magnolia Farmer Carwile. She owned and operated Browns Flower Shop for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston. She is survived by her husband, Clay Parsons of Livingston; 2 sons & daugters-in-law, Sonny & Debra Parsons and David & Lesa Parsons, all of Livingston; 4 brothers, Eldon Carwile of Franklin, TN, Ethan Carwile, Eric Carwile, and Earl Carwile, all of Livingston; 4 sisters, Ethna Brown of Cookeville, Edwina Winningham of Livingston, Elna Wilson of Huntington, West Virginia, and Estelene Morgan of Hilham; 5 grandchildren, Shannon DePry of Las Vegas, NV, Casey Parsons of Johnson City, TN, Rebekah Sims of Monroe, and Curtis Parsons & Stuart Parsons, both of Livingston; and 5 great-grandchildren, Connor DePry and Vayda DePry, both of Las Vegas, NV, Lily Parsons of Johnson City, TN, and Madisyn Sims and Makynlee Sims, both of Monroe. She is preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers who will serve are Larry Winningham, Lindon Carwile, Jacob Carwile, Charles Sims, Jim Morgan, Jeff Morgan, Casey Parsons, & Mark Carwile.
