Homer was born in Gassaway, W. Va., on Oct. 31, 1936. He was a machinist for Akron Tool and Die Co. for 36 years. Preceded in death by his father, Cecil Heaton, he is survived by his wife, Nancy (Chapman), of 38 years; mother, Bessie; daughters, Allison (Ken) Suder of Wadsworth and Jackie (Gary) Arnold of Wadsworth; sister, Norma (Charles) Shroyer of Amherst, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa and Jennifer Suder, and Tyler Arnold. Homer was very active with his family and grandchildren. We will miss him very much. Miss Me, But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, Miss me, but let me go. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not for long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone. It's all part of the Master's plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds Miss me, but let me go. Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton, on Saturday, March 15, from 10 to 11 a.m., where services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. Rev. William Cunningham will officiate. Donations may be made to First Baptist Christian School, 3646 Medina Rd., Medina 44256. (Bacher, Norton, 826-3633.)
