He was the son of the late Jesse & Evie McLain Burks. He passed away September 29, 2014 at the age of 71yrs, 8 mos & 18 days. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers & 1 sister. Survivors include: His wife, Bobbie Jean Burks, Russell Springs, KY Four children: David Burks & Mary Burks, Franklin, IN; Kevin Wayne Burks & Laura Campbell, Russell Springs, KY One sister: Lorene Randolph, Franklin, IN He worked in maintenance at Fruit of the Loom & attended Bethesda Community Fellowship Church. Funeral service for Phillip Wayne Burks will be at 11amCT, Thursday, Oct 2, 2014 at the Bethesda church with Bro Billy Dunbar officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT Wednesday, at the church.
