Mr. Elbert E. Pennington age 87 of Livingston, TN passed away on Tuesday evening, January 21, 2014 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. PERSONAL INFORMATION: Mr. Elbert E. Pennington was born in Hilham, TN along with a twin brother Delbert on March 2, 1926 to the late David and Ida McClain Pennington. Both brothers served in the Army together. Elbert was a first Scout and Delbert was a second Scout. Delbert was wounded and he hollered to Elbert that he was hit, so Elbert carried his twin brother out, he had to leave him beside a building. Elbert did not know for a long time if his twin brother was still alive. SURVIVORS: Daughter: Carolyn Garrett of Livingston, TN Twin Brother: Delbert Pennington and wife Millie of Fishers, Indiana. 1 Sister in-law: Floria Rayborn of Jackson, TN 2 Granddaughters: Donna Polley and husband Jeff of Richmond, Indiana and DeAnna Kelley of Livingston, TN. 3 Great Grandchildren: Bobby Gillentine of Livingston, TN Ashley Allen and Husband Justin of Livingston, TN Kristian Michaelson of Huntington, Indiana. 1 Great Great Granddaughter: Abbiegail Lucille Allen. Special Niece: Kathy Pigg. Special Nephews: Mike, Ronnie, Donnie Pennington. PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his parents: Wife: Lucille Pennington. Daughter: Anna Lois Pennington. 1Brother: Thomas Pennington. 2 Sisters: Deanie Davis, Vernie Pennington. Pennington will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Livingston, TN on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12PM. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery in Byrdstown, TN Officiating will be Bro. Donald Cobb.
