Milton Loftis, 33, died at his home Saturday (February 11, 1933) after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Sunday and burial was at Spring Creek cemetery. The Masonic Lodge, of which Mr Loftis was a member, had charge of funeral services with Elder Tolbert assisting. He had been a member of the Church of Christ for several months. Besides his wife and 4 year old daughter, Mr Loftis is survived by 2 sisters, Mrs James E Danner and Mrs Elmer Bennett of Cookeville; 1 half-sister, Cora Loftis and 2 half-brothers, B M & O J Loftis
