Dorothea Z. Bowe New Albany - Dorothea Z. Bowe, 91, of Rolling Hills Nursing Home, died there Thursday. She was a native of Clark County, a retired farmer, and a member of St. Joe Hill Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Jerome Bowe of Fresno, Calif., Dan Bowe of Madera, Calif, and Paul A. Bowe of Floyds Knobs; seven daughters, Anita Miller and Pat Jacobs, both of New Albany, Louise Becht and Ula Zoellers, both of Floyds Knobs, Beatrice Demeck and Dorothy Beville, both of Jeffersonville, and Vicki Keesler of Sahuartia, Ariz.; two brothers, Gervis "Bud" Zimmerman of Florida and Hubert Zimmerman of Henryville; three sisters, Irene Speth of Jeffersonville, Alma Kruer of Henryville and Mary Schroeder of Sellersburg; 57 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joe Hill Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. today at Kraft Funeral Service.
